DEVI NAVARATHIRI - 2020

The Tridevi are the manifestaion of Mula-Prakriti. The triple deity personify creation, preservation and destruction. Let us pray to the third samhara-shakthi, the destroyer, in the form of Mahankali. Let us ask her to protect us from the deadly virus. During Navrathri it is believed that Goddess Principle is thousand times more active than usual. To get the most spiritual benefit from the principle let us sincerely worship Devi in all nine ways to the best possible. 

This year Navrathri starts on  17th October. Amavasai is on  Friday 16th October, which is considered auspicious day for arranging dolls ( Golu) and for Kalasa Staapana.

Navarathiri Puja starts on  17th, Saturday, that being Pradamai thithi and continues till  Sunday, 25 the October Navami. Vijaya Dasami is on 26 the October.
